As the Director of Product Management, AI, you will own a suite of intelligent safety solutions for drivers, fleets, and partners. You will provide strategic leadership in product vision, market research, AI feature development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, computer vision, design, marketing, operations, legal, sales, and customer success). This role requires a mix of hands-on execution and leadership, mentoring a high-performing team while maintaining deep technical understanding of software, hardware, AI, and data.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing strategic vision for Motive’s AI safety products.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
Spearheading the development and launch of cutting-edge AI features with high standards of quality and performance.
Partnering closely with technical teams to deliver exceptional product outcomes.
Understanding customer needs and translating them into impactful solutions.
Identifying product improvements and new growth opportunities.
Supporting Sales team on strategic accounts and trials.
Mentoring the product team in a player/coach role.
Collaborating with GTM teams to develop sales and marketing strategies.
Analyzing performance metrics to evaluate product success.
Contributing positively to company culture.
Requirements:
8+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
Hands-on experience with IoT, AI/ML, and integrated hardware/software products.
Proven track record in computer vision and machine learning product development.
Strong customer empathy and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to engage across levels.
Humble, kind, open to learning, yet capable of taking a stand.
Ability to work effectively with remote/offshore teams.
