As Director, Information Security, you’ll lead and help establish a culture of cyber security across Westland to activate mitigation tactics to reduce risk as we grow and expand across Canada. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure alignment with best practices and drive security enhancement projects and day-to-day operations of the IT security team.

Why we’ll love You:

• At least 10 years' experience in a senior information security role
• You’re curious about the business and have up-to-date knowledge of issue sand trends in Cyber Security, with a deep understanding of IT controls and audit approaches for protection of data and current technologies including cloud
• You see the big picture, always looking for opportunities to improve and standardize processes and apply best practices
• Experience developing and managing information security programs and a proven track record of implementing organization-wide solutions that protect information assets.
• Knowledge of risk management and experience with industry and regulatory standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO2700, NIST, HIPAA, SOX, etc
• Deep experience with large-scale M&A activities in assessing security risks and exposure
• University degree or college diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Business Management is preferred, or equivalent experience
• Bonus: Professional Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
