Digital Marketing Intern

Description:

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage with the expansion of our eCommerce, community outreach and engagement, and sales. You are a self-motivated, detail-oriented and communicative individual with a strong understanding of social media platforms and a passion for digital marketing. You will be working with Vitacore’s Strategic Planning Initiative to develop digital marketing strategies that will support the growth of Vitacore’s product lines and recycling program. *Please note - as per the rules of the Student Work Placement Program, only domestic Canadian Resident or Canadian Citizen students of a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution are qualified for this placement with our company*.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy.
• Generating creative and search engine optimised content including images and stories.
• Sharing posts to social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
• Designing, creating and managing our customer lists and campaigns using marketing automation services.
• Engaging with our community across our social media platforms.
• Creating blogs independently, with guidance on topics and content.
• Coordinating PR initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new things.
• Adaptable to rapidly evolving workplaces.
• Ability to speak French is an asset.
• Prior experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify and Meta Ads Manager is an asset.
• Prior experience working in B2B marketing, public relations, and/or graphic design is an asset.
