Digital Investment & Activation Buyer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Buyer, Digital Investment & Activation to join our growing team in Canada. This individual will primarily be responsible for executing campaign activity across display, video, social, and SEM. The knowledge acquired from ongoing campaign observations will also funnel into planning considerations. Ultimately, this role should drive performance and innovation at the campaign level to deliver the best digital media opportunities for the clients.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • 40% - Media buying execution. Negotiate, sign IOs, and execute campaigns across digital channels.
  • 20% - Campaign set up. Ensure that all proper tags and site pixels are set up and tested prior to campaign launch date to ensure flawless campaign execution.
  • 25% - Campaign management. Daily check of social and SEM activity and weekly check-in of display and video activity to gauge campaign pacing and highlight potential areas of optimization. Some of this work may be done alongside the Data Analyst. Be in contact with reps as needed to troubleshoot any ongoing issues that may impede campaign delivery.
  • 10% - Assist with Reporting. While the Data Analyst will maintain the lead on client reporting, the Buyer, Digital Investment & Activation will aid as needed.
  • 5% - Client management and presentations. As needed, assist with client management pertaining to campaign activity. Present documentation to client (i.e. campaign wrap up reports).

Supervisory Responsibilities Assist with supervision of Media Assistant as needed.

Knowledge And Skills Required

  • 2-4 years of digital media experience.
  • Video buying experience is an asset.
  • Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience inputting, managing, and analyzing campaigns through Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta, and Twitter.
  • Experience inputting, managing, and analyzing programmatic campaigns through major DSPs (Amazon, The Trade Desk, DV360)
  • Strong writing, presentation, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
