IMAGO Montréal is actively looking for a Digital Graphic Designer who is passionate about social media, digital content creation, and innovative visual storytelling. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong grasp of social platforms and the ability to produce engaging, strategic content for multiple industries including fashion, beauty, luxury, retail, lifestyle, and food.
The role demands a balance of conceptual ideation and hands-on execution, supporting the agency’s clients through creative visuals that resonate with diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with strategy teams to understand client mandates and develop tailored content.
Design creative and compelling visual content for various social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and more.
Produce graphics and simple videos for monthly content calendars, paid and organic campaigns using primarily AI tools.
Lead or participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, strategic ideas.
Monitor and integrate emerging digital trends and competitor benchmarks.
Adapt visual concepts to various formats, including digital, print, events, and more.
Create and present client deliverables like moodboards, mockups, and presentations.
Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
Support communication planning by collaborating with internal teams.
Maintain a forward-thinking approach and contribute to the agency's growth and innovation culture.
Required Profile:
Degree in New Media Arts, Creative Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in visual content creation within an agency or marketing environment.
Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, AI, and visual trends.
Solid portfolio showcasing work for social media platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
Essential fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) for bilingual client accounts.
Strong creativity, autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit.
Knowledge of the digital universe, content marketing, email marketing, and web trends.
Video editing skills and AI tools knowledge (e.g., Midjourney, Ideogram, Visual Electric, ChatGPT, Magnific AI) are assets.
Familiarity with Figma, Asana, and Slack is an advantage.
