Description:

Abe, a specialized consultancy under the Directive family, is seeking a highly creative, innovative, and ambitious Digital Designer to join their remote Canadian team. This role is dedicated to producing high-impact, performance-driven advertising assets for platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing content that not only attracts attention but also drives measurable business outcomes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement compelling ad sets, landing pages, motion graphics, and short-form video cutdowns optimized for various social media channels. Your work will involve A/B testing, CRO analytics, heatmapping, usability testing, and continuous design iterations based on data insights and feedback. Maintaining brand consistency while adapting to different audiences and platforms will be a key part of the role. You will also be responsible for editing video assets, aligning creative strategies with campaign goals, and contributing to both client campaigns and Abe’s own marketing initiatives.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that demands strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines. You will be expected to keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance-driven design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually compelling ad sets and landing pages based on data to improve KPIs.

  • Design and produce motion graphics and short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

  • Edit and repurpose video assets into high-performing ad formats.

  • Conduct and implement A/B tests and experiments using CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, or Crazyegg.

  • Collaborate with media, content, and client teams to align designs with campaign goals and audience insights.

  • Maintain brand consistency while tailoring designs for specific platforms and audiences.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heatmapping to validate design decisions.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while providing timely updates to stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on digital marketing and CRO design best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in graphic design focused on performance-driven creative and CRO.

  • 1 year of motion graphics experience.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and motion/video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and CRO analytics.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in an agency setting.
