Danaher Life Sciences, through its operating company Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) to join its team in Kamloops, BC. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare providers, ensuring critical diagnostic systems operate at peak performance.

The FSR will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and validation of diagnostic instruments and systems, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and uninterrupted laboratory operations. This role requires frequent travel within British Columbia (up to 60%), with occasional assignments across Canada.
Independently install, troubleshoot, repair, and validate diagnostic instruments in hospital and laboratory environments.
Conduct preventive maintenance, field modifications, and service documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
Deliver exceptional customer training on diagnostic systems and products.
Build strong relationships with clients by focusing on their needs and positioning yourself as a trusted partner.
Travel extensively across the BC Interior and other Canadian regions to support Beckman Coulter’s installed base.
Maintain service quality standards, ensuring compliance with Danaher’s Design Control Process and customer requirements.
Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant technical experience, preferably in a field service capacity.
Ability to travel extensively (up to 60% including overnight stays), both within Canada and occasionally to the United States.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record (last 3 years) in line with Danaher’s Vehicle Policy.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, standing, and manual dexterity.
Prior experience with in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) instrumentation such as clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, urinalysis, or laboratory automation.
Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic instruments and troubleshooting methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
Competitive salary range 75,000 – 85,000 CAD per year plus bonus/incentive programs.
