Devops Software Developer

Description:

Carré Technologies Inc. (Hexoskin), a pioneer in wearable health technologies, is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Software Developer to join its R&D team in Montreal. This role will be central to designing, maintaining, and enhancing Hexoskin’s deployment processes while managing infrastructure across cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and private standalone deployments. The selected candidate will work within a collaborative and innovative Software R&D environment, interacting with design, server teams, and interfacing with dedicated clients.

As a DevOps Software Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of infrastructure by implementing consistent builds and monitoring frameworks. You will design and maintain automation scripts for deployment and system performance monitoring, enhance configuration and deployment processes, and ensure compliance with security best practices. Responsibilities also include contributing to code reviews, monitoring KPIs, investigating anomalies, and upgrading systems for functionality and security improvements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong Linux administration expertise, proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Hudson), Git-based workflows, and containerized environments (Docker, VMs). Experience in scripting for complex automation tasks, familiarity with software testing methods, and strong analytical skills are essential. Additional exposure to Agile/Kanban methodologies and cross-platform environments will be highly valued.
