Managing and enhancing the BASF semantics platform and service stack.
Participating in the development and maintenance of various backend APIs.
Assisting with the integration and migration efforts across different systems such as: observability tools, streaming services, and version control systems.
Contributing to the implementation of an ontology editing tool.

A bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC: Terraform, Ansible) as well as experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Experience with continuous integration and deployment methodologies using platforms like GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, AirFlow.
Strong skills in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment while adapting to a fast-paced and dynamic workplace with a proactive and self-driven attitude.
Knowledge of semantic web technologies and concepts including ontologies and knowledge graphs (RDF, OWL), graph databases (Virtuoso, Fuseki, Neo4J), and their query languages (SPARQL, Cypher) would be considered very-nice-to-have.
