Description:
Diligent, a global leader in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions, is seeking a Development Productivity Lead to join its Vancouver team. This role is pivotal in leading the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of advanced AI-driven tools to boost developer efficiency and engineering team effectiveness across the organization.
The Development Productivity Lead will act as a technical evangelist—bridging innovative technology with organizational needs. The role focuses on driving adoption of AI-powered tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and AccelQ, enhancing productivity across global teams. You will be responsible for tool research, demonstration, implementation, impact evaluation, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Tool Research & Evaluation:
Explore, pilot, and evaluate AI-enhanced development tools to improve code quality, collaboration, and time-to-market.
Use data-driven insights to measure ROI and determine future adoption.
Technical Evangelism:
Act as an internal advocate, delivering demos and use cases that promote tools across technical and non-technical teams.
Maintain ongoing engagement through webinars, newsletters, and internal forums.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with engineering, QA, product teams, and vendors.
Act as a trusted advisor, aligning tools with real-world team needs.
Training & Enablement:
Create onboarding guides, host workshops, and offer one-on-one coaching for new tools.
Document best practices and success stories for global rollout.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Manage tool rollouts and pilots across Vancouver, Budapest, and Bangalore.
Travel occasionally to conduct live sessions and support tool adoption.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and assess tool usage and success.
Stay updated on emerging AI, DevOps, and software development trends.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience with software development pipelines, DevOps, or AI/ML-based tooling.
Proven ability to evaluate and implement QA or development tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in influencing diverse stakeholders.
Global collaboration experience and openness to travel.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle concurrent projects.
Competitive salary between CAD 110,000 – 139,000 annually.
