An elite, top-ranked High-Frequency Trading (HFT) fintech firm is actively seeking a Support Analyst (Desktop Support Engineer) to join its Montreal team in a hybrid work setting. As a Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering seamless IT support to over 500 users, including critical trading application support, ensuring high system availability and minimal downtime. Provide technical desktop support to users across the firm, including trade floor support.
Ensure optimal functioning of key systems including Microsoft Windows environments and market data platforms such as Bloomberg.
Respond to high-pressure issues efficiently and effectively in a mission-critical, trading-focused environment.
Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine support tasks and improve system efficiency.
Manage application deployment and support using tools such as SCCM, and application virtualization platforms.
Deliver mobile device support including Blackberry Work and UEM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous IT improvement initiatives.
Maintain strong customer service standards and user satisfaction.
Strong experience in PowerShell scripting for automation and support tasks.
Previous experience supporting trade floor environments or other high-pressure operations.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and desktop administration.
Familiarity with market data applications, especially Bloomberg.
Experience with SCCM, application virtualization, or similar technologies.
Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and delivering user-friendly resolutions.
Hands-on experience with mobile device support, particularly Blackberry Work/UEM.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Prior experience in a financial firm or similar high-performance organization is a strong plus.
