In This Role, Primary Responsibilities Include
- Develop and executed a data engineering strategy aligned with enterprise goals and digital transformation;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define a unified data architecture and scalable roadmap;
- Promote innovation through emerging technologies and platform enhancements;
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for data consistency and compliance;
- Architecte enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure tools (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Event Hubs);
- Lead advanced Databricks implementations for large-scale processing, ML workflows, and real-time analytics;
- Enable actionable insights via semantic models and Power BI enterprise reporting;
- Built robust data pipelines for high-volume ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
- Direct a high-performing team, ensured 99.9%+ uptime, and drove automation and DevOps for operational efficiency.
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or related fields;
- 7+ years of experience in technology leadership, with a proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams;
- 7+ years of hands-on Data engineering experience;
- 7+ years of data warehousing and ETL tools experience;
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in information technology;
- Deep expertise in database and data architecture, with demonstrated experience in designing robust dimensional data models;
- Experience with Finance Reporting Modernization;
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or SAP.
