Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) is seeking a Senior Analyst, Decision Support to join its Finance & Decision Support team. This role is integral in turning data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, proficiency in SQL, and experience with business intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities:
📊 Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop, analyze, and produce reports to support hospital planning and decision-making.
- Extract, interpret, and condense complex data into meaningful findings.
- Manage scorecards, dashboards, and performance indicators to ensure accurate reporting.
📈 Decision Support & Performance Monitoring
- Provide subject matter expertise to leadership and clinical teams on data interpretation.
- Assist in external data submissions to regulatory bodies.
- Monitor key healthcare performance indicators and funding models.
💡 Business Intelligence & Tools
- Utilize SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Crystal Reports for data analysis.
- Work with healthcare data systems such as Meditech, Intellihealth Ontario, and CIHI databases.
- Support ad-hoc data requests from hospital leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field (Master’s degree in MBA, Health Information Management, or Computer Science is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in decision support or related healthcare analytics role.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SQL query writing.
✅ Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports).
- Experience with Ontario healthcare data systems (DAD, NACRS, OMHRS, NRS, CCRS, IDS BI, Meditech, etc.).
- Knowledge of healthcare funding models (HBAM/GEM, QBPs, PCOP is an asset).
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

💼 Compensation: $42.55/hr - $53.19/hr (~$7,370 - $9,217 per month)
