Direct IT Recruiting Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Vendor Management Data Analyst to join its client in the healthcare sector on a 6-month hybrid contract-to-hire basis. This role requires a highly analytical professional with strong expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and vendor management analytics. The position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, with 2 days per week onsite and quarterly travel to Dallas, Texas (4 days per trip).

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered dashboards and reports that provide deep insights into IT vendor performance, financials, contracts, and risk management. They will lead data governance initiatives, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability of vendor data across multiple platforms, including ServiceNow, Workday, Fieldglass, Salesforce/GovernX, and SharePoint.

Key responsibilities include automating workflows through Power Query, APIs, and ELT transformations; implementing predictive analytics and anomaly detection to enhance vendor risk and performance insights; and collaborating with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to align analytics with business objectives. Additionally, the role involves documenting processes, exploring new AI/automation tools, and effectively communicating progress and challenges to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred) and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI, Data Engineering (DP-203), Azure AI, or ITIL. Strong skills in Power BI, Databricks, Fabric, SQL, ETL/ELT, DAX, and AI/ML-driven analytics are essential, along with hands-on experience in vendor management systems. The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada and willing to travel quarterly to the U.S.
