Description:
Les Urbainculteurs, a social economy enterprise based in Québec and specializing in urban agriculture since 2009, is seeking a Responsible – Boutique, Procurement, and Customer Service professional. The organization’s mission is to develop and promote productive, accessible, and responsible urban agriculture to improve living environments, support ecological transition, and increase food security. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the online boutique, procurement operations, shipping logistics, inventory, supplier relations, and customer service while also supporting administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales, Purchasing & Inventory:
Manage inventory to ensure timely availability of necessary products and operational materials.
Place and follow up on supplier orders in line with sustainable procurement policies.
Assess supply chain, transportation, and logistics options, exploring opportunities to expand or diversify offerings.
Ensure prompt, courteous, and reliable customer service.
Oversee processing and shipping of online orders, and manage receipt/returns of goods.
Contribute to achieving boutique goals (sales, costs, timelines).
Update and enhance online product listings and descriptions.
Optimize warehouse organization for operational materials.
Marketing & Events:
Develop promotional calendars and showcase products effectively.
Organize annual sales events and participate in seasonal events (handling plants, managing sales, stock, and customer advice).
Administrative:
Respond to general phone calls and emails.
Support management with administrative tasks.
Perform any other related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education and/or experience in managing transactional platforms and e-commerce.
Proficient in performance tools for e-commerce, data analysis, and cybersecurity for online transactions.
Experience in e-commerce logistics: delivery models, returns, inventory management.
Strong online marketing and digital communication skills (social media, email campaigns, Google Ads).
Customer experience expertise including policies, technical support, and service delivery.
Familiarity with urban agriculture, related products (plants, vegetables, gardening materials) is a strong asset.
Excellent command of software tools (Shopify, Square, Google Suite, Excel).
Positive leadership, strong customer service orientation.

Job Details:
Permanent role, between 28 to 35 hours per week.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Salary: CAD 21.32 to 25.03/hour (CAD 3,687 to 4,380/month, full-time equivalent), based on experience and qualifications.
