Description:

DXC Technology is seeking a Bilingual Life Insurance Customer Service Representative (Agent de service à la clientèle bilingue en assurance vie) to join its growing Canadian team. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to serve clients in both English and French, providing vital support and information related to life insurance policies and products.

As part of DXC’s client service team, you will play an essential role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring client satisfaction by managing inquiries, documenting interactions, and resolving requests efficiently and professionally. The position requires a dedicated professional with strong communication skills, bilingual fluency, and a genuine passion for delivering superior customer service in the financial services and insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed policyholder and product information to clients and advisors in both English and French.

  • Document client issues, identify necessary actions, and follow up to ensure timely and effective resolution.

  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure all service standards are met or exceeded.

  • Process non-financial transactions and support administrative functions related to life insurance policies.

  • Recommend service and process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Handle client inquiries related to billing, claims, or product information with professionalism and empathy.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.

  • Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and French – both written and verbal).

  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Positive, service-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Ability to work independently while following detailed oral and written instructions.

  • Prior experience in life insurance or policy administration is an asset but not mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Fully remote position available only within Canada.

  • Requires a stable home office setup with reliable internet and professional workspace.

  • May involve rotational shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday, with schedules posted 4 weeks in advance (start times vary: 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, or 10:30 AM).

  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada without the need for future sponsorship.
