Description:
Maple Leaf Foods Inc., a leading carbon-neutral food company, is seeking a Customer Enablement & Execution Manager to support its Foodservice Platform, representing approximately $56M in annual sales. Reporting to the Director of Customer Enablement & Execution, this role is pivotal in managing the front-end scoping of customer-branded and strategic initiatives related to product launches and modifications. It integrates a strong blend of project management and light marketing support, ensuring excellence in execution and cross-functional alignment.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence Maple Leaf’s commercialization process while contributing directly to strategic sales efforts. It is ideal for someone with strong project coordination skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead front-end scoping and execution of customer and internal initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams.
Oversee project assessment including kick-off, capacity and capability checks, finalizing specs, and sample development.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments including Marketing, R&D, QA, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Graphics, and more.
Understand and advocate for both internal and external stakeholder objectives and constraints.
Partner with Sales, Category Marketing, and Strategy to execute customer requirements and brand initiatives.
Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to drive nimble, fact-based decision-making.
Monitor and report progress of initiatives to working teams and leadership.
Coach and train others in commercialization processes and execution discipline.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Foodservice Marketing, Commercial Execution, or Project Management.
Strong business acumen with knowledge of scoping and commercialization processes.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships and lead through influence.
Effective communicator, able to synthesize complex data for diverse audiences.
Strong organizational, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills.
Confident decision-maker with the ability to take initiative and act on convictions.
Familiarity with SAP RD is considered an asset.
