Description:
Zynga is seeking a Creative Strategy Contractor to join its global marketing team for 4 months. This role will focus on driving User Acquisition (UA) creative strategy across Zynga’s portfolio of live games, including Words With Friends, Zynga Poker, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, Game of Thrones: Legends, and more. The position blends creative insight with performance marketing, requiring experience in mobile gaming and an understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) business models.
Key Responsibilities:
Per Cadence (6 Weeks)
Analyze UA creative performance and competitor trends to develop actionable insights.
Lead creative planning discussions and decision-making processes.
Align with Product Marketing, ASO, and Product teams to identify UA creative opportunities.
Collaborate with art leads to develop concepts exploring creative opportunity spaces.
Guide briefing and feedback to ensure ads meet strategic objectives.
Define KPI targets for creative initiatives and ensure timely delivery of new creatives.
Monthly
Provide updates on UA creative strategy and production to cross-functional stakeholders.
Package past work into case studies to enhance team-wide creative knowledge.
Guide competitor research projects produced by Art teams.
Weekly
Attend meetings with UA, Art, Production, & Analysts to track production, UA performance, and creative priorities.
Ad-Hoc
Lead creative strategy & production initiatives outside normal scope.
Identify and implement process improvements across creative planning functions.
Define creative reporting needs.
Requirements & Skills:
Experience in the mobile gaming industry.
Knowledge of user acquisition levers and creative KPIs.
Understanding of F2P mobile games business models.
Ability to innovate creative strategies beyond standard optimization practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$40 - $50 per hour, depending on location and experience.
