Description:
The Analyst, Cost & Performance Management is responsible for analyzing financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making, optimize costs, and enhance organizational performance. This role bridges finance, operations, and strategy by providing insights that drive efficiency and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management:
- Analyze and monitor cost across all Global OPS Workpackages & Projects, ensures alignment through the various functions (such as EAC Releases) to meet objectives.
- Compare actual costs to budgets and investigate variances to lead corrective actions
- Define budget requirement and support standard costing processes through should cost review & Bid
- Drives forecast accuracy by analyzing historical trends, refining financial models, and continuously monitoring variances to align projections with actual performance, including EVMS profile for all critical program
Performance Management
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic OKRs.
- Conduct performance analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement performance improvement initiatives. Holds cost impact authority to determine whether an initiative should or should not be implemented
- Prepare and present performance dashboards and reports to stakeholders.
Reporting & Communication
- Create clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management & Executives
- Translate complex data into actionable insights.
Minimal Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in finance.
- Ability to write reports, respond to questions, and present information to various stakeholders.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with an integrated management system, preferably ORACLE.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines independently.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and handle multiple concrete and abstract variables simultaneously.
