Corporate Communications Manager

Description:

Sun Life is seeking a creative and driven Manager, Corporate Communications to join their Toronto team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will lead a small creative team of two professionals, developing and executing impactful communication strategies supporting the CEO’s office and global enterprise initiatives.

Your role will include creating presentations, speeches, messages, story pitches, and visual/video content that align with Sun Life’s purpose and business priorities. You will coordinate communications for key company initiatives such as enterprise strategy and client-focused programs, support storytelling across global platforms, and assist with communications for special projects like leadership changes and organizational restructuring.

Success requires exceptional writing, storytelling, media relations, and digital/social media strategy skills. The role demands strong interpersonal and project management skills, the ability to advise senior leaders, and experience managing creative teams. Familiarity with media monitoring tools, content management systems, and crisis communications are assets. French language skills are a plus.
