Controller

Description:

We are recruiting an experienced Controller on behalf of our client, a technology services organization that delivers integrated security, communications, and network solutions to commercial and institutional customers. The ideal candidate is both a down-to-earth and strategic finance professional who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities across different business units and have a proven ability to strengthen accounting processes, implement effective controls, and meet tight deadlines. They have a proven track record of delivering value-added financial support to dynamic senior leadership teams. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be required to:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate financial records across all business units
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements and analyze company performance
  • Monitor revenue, project costs, and overall profitability
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and audits
  • Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Work closely with leadership and other departments to support business decisions

This company has extremely low turnover as most employees have been there over a decade, and it is therefore imperative that the next person they find fits in well with their culture, which is honest, has no attitude and is collaborative. If this sounds like an organization you’d like to join, one that values loyalty, hard work, and a down-to-earth culture, don’t hesitate. Apply now!
