Description:
The new writer will be able to build standard insurance contracts and brochures for small and medium-sized groups according to established procedures and templates.
They will work for the Atlantic, Quebec and Ontario regions.
They will also be required to perform certain administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Create standard contracts and booklets from source documents for new groups following documented processes;
- Work with the trainer to review items of work progressing in complexity. Trending of errors will take place between Quality Assurance and Training and be reviewed after each piece of work to support the learning process;
- Work to a set schedule to meet established turn around times (TAT);
- Review processes regularly and establish learning routine based on QA code trends;
- Attend and participate at team meetings, or meetings organised by the business;
- Communicate effectively with teams members, training and contract specialists, when clarification is needed on some work items;
- Be a proud owner of each piece of work;
- Maintain and manage a portfolio of accounts and ensure that Group information is up to date at all times. Become the contract expert for assigned portfolio;
- Perform housekeeping duties to keep trackers, folders, groups information up to date at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or degree level (Translation, writing, studies in English and French), or a combination of relevant experience in fields of interest;
- Bilingualism in English and French;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to negotiate on timelines;
- Effective at building relationships with peers, functional teams and internal stakeholders;
- Networking skills;
- Ability to see the big pictures;
- Good presentation skills;
- The ability to convey an idea concisely in either English or French;
- Knowledge of MS office (Word).
