Description:
Directive, a leading performance marketing agency for SaaS and tech companies, is hiring for a Content Marketing Manager (internally titled Content Marketing Strategist) in a future opening role. This fully remote position is open to qualified professionals located in Canada who are passionate about SEO-driven content, marketing strategy, and client impact.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both content development and technical SEO, as well as the ability to manage enterprise-level client relationships, execute campaigns across multiple digital channels, and drive measurable results using Customer Generation methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Strategic Planning & Execution
Design and execute content strategies aligned with client goals and performance KPIs
Develop creative briefs and lead content ideation based on audience research and competitor analysis
Use frameworks like LTV modeling, Customer Generation, and Share of SERP to drive high-impact results
Create customized route-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
🔹 Client & Project Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and strategy alignment
Manage content calendars, assign tasks in Asana, and coordinate with writers, designers, and analysts
Present performance reports, strategic reviews, and growth recommendations on a bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
🔹 SEO Implementation
Conduct detailed SEO audits and implement optimization plans for site structure, metadata, and internal linking
Execute keyword research and gap analysis to inform new content creation
Lead link-building efforts and enhance domain authority via outreach and partnerships
🔹 Reporting & Goal-Setting
Set and track client goals using tools such as GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and CRM systems
Collaborate with Associate Directors to review performance data and refine campaign strategies
Work from Anywhere in Canada (Remote-first company)
