Consumer Loan Specialist

Mariner Finance is actively seeking a Consumer Loan Specialist to join their on-site team in Yukon, Oklahoma. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) offering a dynamic opportunity to build a career in the consumer finance sector. The position is ideal for candidates with a sales background who are motivated by performance-based incentives and customer engagement.

As a Consumer Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, completing the full-cycle loan application process, resolving delinquent accounts, and supporting branch operations with accuracy and timeliness. This role involves both inbound and outbound customer communication and requires a deep understanding of credit and compliance laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound customer service calls and manage outbound collection and sales calls.

• Offer personalized solutions to customers with overdue accounts to help resolve delinquency.

• Complete the entire loan application process, including credit and financial data analysis.

• Meet and exceed individual monthly sales goals related to loans and financial services.

• Educate customers on financial products while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local consumer laws.

• Manage daily cash drawer, including processing transactions and making daily deposits.

• Participate in other duties as assigned to support consistent, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year in a sales position.

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Interest in the consumer finance industry.

• Proficiency in communication, technology use, and time management.

• Must be able to obtain state-required licenses for loan handling and compliance.

Work Schedule:

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Primarily office-based; requires long periods of sitting, phone use, and computer work.

• Must occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.

• Regular physical presence in the office is required.
