Deloitte Canada is seeking a Consultant – Oracle Cost Management (Finance and SCM) to join its dynamic team of experts. This role involves implementing, optimizing, and managing Oracle Cost Management and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions for a diverse client base. The position is ideal for professionals with strong technical, analytical, and functional expertise in Oracle Cloud, who are passionate about delivering innovative and efficient financial and supply chain solutions.

As a Consultant, you will play a key role in full-cycle implementation projects, helping clients streamline their cost management processes, improve financial accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Inventory, ensuring integrated and cohesive business operations across Oracle Cloud modules.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in implementation, optimization, and migration projects focused on Oracle Cost Management within Finance and SCM environments.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications aligned with industry best practices.

  • Configure and customize Oracle Cost Management applications to meet client-specific needs.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Inventory teams to design and implement integrated solutions.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in costing processes, including standard costing, actual costing, cost allocation, inventory valuation, and cost reporting.

  • Perform fit-gap analysis to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities.

  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet quality standards.

  • Deliver post-implementation support including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for clients to enhance system adoption.

  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud releases and new features, advising clients on leveraging innovations for enhanced efficiency.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cost Management and Oracle SCM Cloud modules.

  • Experience in 2–3 full lifecycle Oracle implementations, preferably with a focus on cost and supply chain management.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, and integration between finance and supply chain processes.

  • Proficiency in Oracle modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Cost Management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to design and deliver scalable solutions.

  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

  • Oracle Cloud Certifications in Cost Management or SCM are a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies, OTBI, and BI Publisher is preferred.
