Computer Services Network Technician

Description:

• Diploma in an accredited computer technology program or relevant experience in computer installation, maintenance and repair of

personal computers and network devices

• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, network equipment, security cameras, mobile devices, VoIP telephones and

peripherals such as printers, scanners, etc.

• Proficient with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and IP based networking
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of networking, routers and switches
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Commitment to life-long learning

ASSETS
• Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures

• Experience installing of Network cabling (Cat5/6, Fiber)
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer service skills

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
• Required to travel to UCN locations as needed
