LUG Sports Group, one of North America’s largest adult recreational sports leagues with over 25,000 players across 60+ cities, is seeking a Customer Success & Communications Intern to help enhance the player experience and strengthen communication across its leagues. Founded on the belief of “Keeping the Dream Alive,” LUG provides adults with opportunities to continue playing the sports they love while fostering community, inclusion, and friendly competition.
In this role, you will support the Customer Success & Communications Lead to ensure that every player and captain receives timely, clear, and helpful communication. You’ll assist in managing customer support systems, league communications, and operational coordination while helping execute strategic projects to elevate the overall LUG experience.
Support daily customer communications through HelpScout and other platforms.
Ensure all player and captain inquiries are handled promptly, clearly, and accurately.
Assist in creating and distributing league-wide and city-specific email communications and updates.
Conduct customer feedback surveys, analyze responses, and summarize insights for internal teams.
Maintain organized data and records to support league operations and logistics.
Collaborate on customer success projects such as proactive communication initiatives and service improvements.
Contribute to special projects that enhance communication processes and player engagement.
Strong communication and writing abilities with attention to tone and detail.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with CRM tools, email platforms, and spreadsheet management.
Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Passionate about sports and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow into larger roles.
Fully remote position — flexibility to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
Full-time internship (35 hours/week), with schedule flexibility during active sports seasons.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during league operations.
