Communications Coordinator

 

Description:

  • Supports PCL’s portfolio of internal and external communication activities, products, and initiatives.
  • Writes clear, concise business communications that are tailored to the right audience and grammatically sound.
  • Creates and executes internal and external communications plans for projects by applying PCL branding.
  • Provides basic editing and proofreading support.
  • Monitors and develops social media content and understanding social media platforms.
  • Works collaboratively with creative professionals to create visual communications.
  • Supports special events and providing communication and logistic coordination.
  • Provides communications consultation and identifying opportunities for PCL to be thought leaders in.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
  • Some communications student experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of and ability to create elements of a communications plan.
  • Basic knowledge of brand management, communications mediums and visual communications.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and organize information accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
