Commercial Sales Advisor

Description:

Cogeco Connexion Inc is seeking a Conseiller Ventes Commerciales (Commercial Sales Advisor) to join its commercial sales team in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communications with current and prospective business clients, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing communications (calls/emails) with internal and external clients.

• Promote and sell telecommunications products and services aligned with customer needs.

• Identify and act upon sales opportunities during client interactions.

• Work to retain clients considering cancelling or downgrading services.

• Manage client files including input of relevant data into the system.

• Complete administrative duties such as reports, forms, statistical compilations, and document handling.

• Support clients in resolving service issues or escalate when necessary.

• Provide internal support to departments like marketing, technical, sales, and IT.

• Follow up on sales proposals and commercial contracts.

• Offer credit advice and liaise with financial institutions for verification or corrections.

• Participate in training of new employees and testing related to team projects as needed.

• Process commercial customer portability requests.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma.

• At least 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within telecom or tech industries.

• Proven sales ability and goal achievement.

• Good understanding of telecom services: voice network access (e.g., SIP, PRI), internet services, business phone systems, cable distribution technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication in French and English (written and spoken).

• Must maintain regular attendance and availability.

Work Conditions:

• On-site role based in Trois-Rivières, QC.

• 37.5 hours per week spread across five consecutive days from Sunday to Saturday.

• Position classified under Commercial Service Class 2, with an hourly wage range from CAD 24.52 to CAD 37.64.

• Subject to a skills test and interview.
