In the Bas-Saint-Laurent (Rimouski/Rivière-du-Loup) or Côte-Nord (Baie-Comeau/Sept-Îles) regions, we are looking for a person capable of building and developing a portfolio of corporate clients in various sectors. In this role, you will create financing opportunities for businesses, and collaborate with BDC advisory teams to provide solutions to support their growth.

What you will do:

  • Organize and participate in networking activities to establish and maintain business relationships in your assigned territory in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, which includes Rimouski and Rivière-Du-Loup.

  • Obtain references and leads that facilitate the acquisition of new clients and make cold calls to local businesses (distribution and manufacturing) on a daily basis.

  • Create and deploy a marketing plan aligned with your business center strategy, which prioritizes the growth of your portfolio and the retention of your existing client base.

  • Consistently demonstrate a passion for business development in order to make a big impact in your community

  • Review and submit high-quality financing loan proposals.

  • Offer advisory-services mandates adapted to the challenges of businesses.

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Good financial analysis skills. An existing network of influence in your region of the Bas-Saint-Laurent.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development/Sales Representative or similar role.

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (or equivalent).

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French.

  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
