Commercial Account Executive

 

Description:

Tipalti is actively seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Commercial Account Executive to join their growing sales team in Toronto. This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling Tipalti’s advanced SaaS FinTech solutions. You will be responsible for managing both inbound leads generated by SDRs, marketing, and partners, as well as your own outbound efforts.

The role requires a strong command of the full sales cycle – from prospecting and qualification to pitching and closing deals. You’ll deliver customized solutions to prospects, articulate the value proposition of Tipalti’s products, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Tipalti offers a comprehensive technology stack to support its sales professionals, including tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus, and Clari, ensuring efficient prospect engagement and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle sales processes for mid-market customers

  • Identify and qualify leads through outbound and inbound channels

  • Meet and exceed revenue quotas and territory growth objectives

  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Tipalti’s product value and financial impact

  • Maintain high activity metrics and consistent pipeline coverage

  • Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, SDRs, and product

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience with a strong performance record

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

  • Skilled at using automated tools and demo environments independently

  • Strategic thinker with ability to identify business challenges and propose tailored solutions

  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
