Groupe vétérinaire Daubigny, the leading veterinary network in Canada with over 35 years of expertise, is seeking a Clinical Director for a 6-month fixed-term contract at Clinique vétérinaire Lévis-Lauzon. Daubigny operates a vast network of veterinary clinics, specialized hospitals, and 24/7 emergency services across Québec, providing exceptional care to animals while fostering strong relationships with their owners. As the Clinical Director, you will lead the clinic team, oversee operations, and ensure the highest quality of veterinary care. This leadership role requires strong organizational, financial, and people management skills, as well as a passion for building client trust and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the clinic team in a positive work environment.

  • Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Manage staffing, recruitment, and personnel changes through Dayforce.

• Operational Management:

  • Supervise daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency and quality of care.

  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance.

  • Communicate company policies effectively to staff.

• Financial Oversight:

  • Establish and manage the clinic budget.

  • Review financial reports and introduce cost-reduction strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Address concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinarians.

• Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare for inspections and audits.

• Marketing & Community Engagement:

  • Implement local marketing initiatives to promote the clinic.

  • Represent the clinic at community events and awareness programs.

• Strategic Initiatives:

  • Develop business plans and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Continuously monitor and improve operational effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience (healthcare background is an asset).

• Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

• Customer service orientation, financial acumen, and critical thinking.

• Proficiency with IT systems and practice management tools.

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration preferred.
