Description:

L’Accueil pour Elle, a dedicated organization providing shelter and support for women and children who are victims of violence, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee and strengthen the clinical practice of its frontline intervention team. Based in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, this is a full-time, on-site position offering a highly supportive, mission-driven work environment.

The Clinical Coordinator will work closely with the Clinical Director to supervise intervention staff, maintain service quality, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to organizational protocols. The role combines clinical leadership, mentoring, administrative coordination, and collaborative representation in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the intervention team, aligning them with the organization's feminist, intersectional approaches and core mission.

  • Represent management in interactions with staff and serve as a liaison between leadership and the intervention team.

  • Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with clinical protocols such as case documentation, group facilitation, intervention plans, and follow-ups.

  • Support and foster professional development within the team by identifying training needs, providing coaching, and recommending learning tools and resources.

  • Lead the integration and training of new staff.

  • Coordinate and animate bi-weekly team meetings and participate in internal committees.

  • Establish partnerships with community organizations, institutions, and professionals.

  • Act as the key contact for problem-solving, facility operations, and maintaining a harmonious work climate.

  • Ensure adherence to emergency and safety measures by all team members.

  • Share relevant information, articles, tools, and training opportunities to enhance clinical practice.

  • Represent the organization at external events or interagency meetings.

  • Perform other related tasks as required to support the organization’s mission and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of gender-based violence and intersectional feminist approaches to intervention.

  • Experience working in a women’s shelter or similar support organization.

  • Proven ability to coordinate or manage a clinical team.

  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (local travel required).

  • Fluency in French and professional-level English.

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.

  • Strong leadership with the ability to foster team growth and a positive work environment.

  • Effective planning and organizational skills including meeting facilitation, protocol supervision, and project coordination.

Assets (Considered as Advantages):

  • Familiarity with ASO software (clinical management system).

  • Experience in unionized work environments.

  • Proficiency in a third language.

Working Conditions:

  • Location: On-site at Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, flexible over 4 days, including one evening per week until 8:00 PM.

  • Salary: CAD 37.00 to 42.00 per hour, based on experience.
