Description:
As a Clinical Associate, you'll provide meaningful, client-centered care, while we handle referral generation, intake screening, and practice management.
What You'll Do
- Accept or decline referrals screened and directed to you by the Clinical Director
- Provide individual counselling, psychotherapy, caregiver support, and system navigation
- Build a caseload over time, with a goal of reaching roughly 6-10 clients per week as referral volume allows
- Document all sessions in Upheal EHR
- Maintain professional standards in conduct, communication, and client care
What We're Looking For
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- MSW preferred — candidates with a Master of Social Work are preferred given the clinical scope of this role; BSW/RSW candidates with relevant clinical experience are welcome to apply
- Experience supporting older adults and/or caregivers navigate the challenges of later life
- Experience providing individual counselling/psychotherapy
- Comfort with (or willingness to learn) virtual care and EHR documentation
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness to clients (48-hour response standard)
- Professional, reliable, and client-centered approach to care
- Current professional liability insurance
