About the Role

  • Support offenders throughout their social reintegration process.

  • Initiate a process of accountability regarding their criminal behavior while providing psychosocial support.

  • Direct clients to appropriate community resources and work to strengthen a social network that fosters their reintegration.

  • Conduct home visits, maintain case files, produce various reports, and ensure offenders comply with legal conditions.

  • Manage individual cases related to the sexual delinquency program.

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise group activities aimed at promoting clients’ social reintegration.

  • Enforce the center’s code of conduct and regulations.

  • Keep clinical records up to date and write daily reports.

  • Occasionally perform individual and group interventions.

  • Ensure a positive and appropriate environment in the living setting.


Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory as needed.


Education

  • University undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) in Psychoeducation, Criminology, Sexology, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields (no experience required),
    OR

  • Completed college diploma (DEC) in intervention field with 6 years of relevant experience.


Skills and Competencies

  • Good judgment and sense of responsibility.

  • Open-mindedness, adaptability, and stress management skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team.

  • Excellent proficiency in French is required.
