Description:
People Corporation, a national leader in benefits, retirement, wealth, wellness, and HR solutions, is seeking a Bilingual Client Service Specialist (Disability) to join its team in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time on-site role involves managing life and disability claims for clients, ensuring smooth and timely processing, and supporting clients throughout the claims journey.
This position requires fluency in both English and French, and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where client satisfaction and service excellence are core priorities.
Manage the day-to-day processing of life and disability claims for clients
Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers
Respond promptly to inquiries from clients, advisors, and plan members
Provide clear guidance to clients on claims processes, forms, and timelines
Track all claims and follow up with insurance providers and other stakeholders
Handle complex issues and manage client escalations effectively
Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of client information
Support the preparation and administration of documentation related to all claim activities
Bilingual (English & French) – fluent in both written and spoken forms
At least 2 years of experience in the group benefits industry
Disability claims administration experience is essential
Experience working in a client-centric environment with service excellence as a focus
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven setting
Proficiency in communication and interpersonal interactions
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent time management
Initiative-driven and adaptable in fast-changing environments
