Description:

MSCI Inc. is seeking an Analytics Client Consultant to join its collaborative client coverage team in Toronto. The role involves working cross-functionally with sales, ESG, and support teams to ensure a seamless and responsive client experience while managing a portfolio of accounts. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in MSCI’s portfolio and risk management analytics, providing tailored client support across asset classes.

Key responsibilities include proactive client engagement, delivering best-in-class training and analytics support, aligning MSCI’s proprietary tools with client-specific business goals, and identifying opportunities for deeper product integration. The consultant will play a pivotal role in client retention, upselling opportunities, and ensuring smooth renewal processes, while also representing client feedback to product and research teams to drive innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in portfolio and risk management analytics.

  • Deliver client-specific training, product education, and analytics support.

  • Identify upsell opportunities and ensure retention through enhanced client engagement.

  • Translate complex methodologies into actionable insights.

  • Conduct workshops, webinars, and one-on-one consultations.

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to expand MSCI’s footprint within client organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in financial services or client relationship management.

  • Professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM are a plus.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

  • Proven track record in managing client relationships in the financial sector.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
