Chemistry Teacher

The Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne, a leading academic institution in Montreal, is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its regular teaching staff for the Fall 2025 semester. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of education, guiding and inspiring students in chemistry while contributing to the academic mission of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver detailed study and course plans.

• Teach assigned chemistry courses (Course 202-SN1, 3 groups, schedule to be confirmed).

• Provide academic support and supervision to students throughout the semester.

• Monitor, supervise, and grade examinations, tests, and assignments.

• Participate in pedagogical days organized by the college.

• Take part in departmental meetings and academic activities required for departmental objectives.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (mandatory). A graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field is considered an asset.

• Teaching Skills: Pedagogical training or significant teaching experience is a strong advantage.

• Languages: Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French (validated through tests).

• Other Competencies: Ability to teach the majority of courses in the discipline, strong communication skills, passion for education and student success.
