Nootka Marine Adventures is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join their dynamic team at Moutcha Bay Resort in Tahsis, BC. This is a seasonal full-time position, offering an immediate start with employment lasting through September 2025.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily food preparation according to standard recipes under the Chef’s direction.

  • Assist with leadership and training of line and prep cooks.

  • Communicate proactively with the Chef regarding any operational or ingredient issues.

  • Set up stations, prepare ingredients, and ensure adequate stocking of supplies.

  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and consistency.

  • Adhere to all cleaning, sanitation, dishwashing, and general hygiene protocols.

  • Ensure a positive, professional, and guest-centric kitchen environment.

  • Uphold quality standards in every aspect of food production and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience in a restaurant setting.

  • Food Safe Level 1 certification (mandatory).

  • WHMIS Certification required.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and productive under pressure.

  • Must be physically able to lift 30 lbs and stand for prolonged periods in a team-oriented kitchen space.
