Description:
Boy Gorgeous Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen operations across a variety of platforms, including a la carte dining, upscale catering, and food truck ventures. This role comes with full operational responsibility as the owner steps back from daily oversight. You will oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, drive culinary excellence, and help elevate the brand’s culinary vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service across multiple business streams.
Lead, train, and inspire a skilled culinary team.
Maintain and improve food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Manage inventory, food cost, and labor cost controls.
Collaborate on seasonal menu development and accommodate custom client requests.
Ensure adherence to health & safety protocols.
Liaise with ownership and report to the Executive Chef on kitchen performance and goals.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in a senior kitchen role (Sous Chef or above).
Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team independently.
Strong understanding of catering, a la carte, and food truck operations.
Passion for culinary innovation and high-quality cuisine delivery across diverse service styles.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain high standards and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
