Change Management Consultant

Description:

Softchoice is seeking a bilingual (French/English) Adoption & Change Management Consultant to join its AI Solutions Group in Toronto, ON. The role focuses on driving successful Workplace AI Consulting engagements by supporting customer transitions through AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, utilizing proven change management frameworks and practices.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project execution, stakeholder engagement, and practice development while helping clients prepare for, adapt to, and thrive in an AI-powered workspace.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery and Execution

• Assess the client's current environment, readiness, and AI adoption maturity

• Identify risks, gather business requirements, and create strategic plans for user adoption

• Apply proven change management methodologies to guide clients through digital transformation

• Deliver comprehensive professional consulting services, including stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and performance monitoring

• Ensure all engagements are high-quality, delivered on time, and within budget

• Monitor training program effectiveness via feedback loops and success metrics

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build trusted relationships with customers as a go-to advisor for Workplace AI initiatives

• Collaborate with sales and account teams to discover and develop service expansion opportunities

Practice Development

• Improve internal consulting methodologies and content across the AI Solutions team

• Surface insights, best practices, and industry trends to evolve solution delivery models

• Support onboarding and mentoring of junior consultants on the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change Management, Education, HR, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services, change management, or consulting roles

• Practical expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-enabled digital transformation projects

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

• French/English bilingualism is mandatory

• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%)

Preferred Qualities:

• Familiarity with structured change management tools and frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)

• Experience working in a customer-facing consulting role

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement within a collaborative, high-performing team culture
