Role Overview:
As a Change and Culture Advisor reporting to the Vice-President, People and Culture, you will lead organizational change initiatives and advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) priorities. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting change that strengthens the credit union’s culture and reflects its core values.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the People Side of Change

  • Design and implement change management strategies to support new initiatives, processes, and technologies.

  • Partner with business leaders and project teams to integrate change management into project lifecycles.

  • Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analyses; develop mitigation plans for risks.

  • Lead the internal Change Management Committee to promote alignment and consistent change approaches.

  • Develop and maintain frameworks, dashboards, and metrics to measure change adoption and success.

  • Communicate transparently to support employee engagement and change adoption.

  • Ensure sustainability of change initiatives by supporting long-term adoption and operational transitions.

  • Evaluate and refine change management strategies for effective outcomes.

Champion DEI Across the Organization

  • Develop and execute DEI strategies aligned with business goals and BCorp standards.

  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to build and deliver DEI education programs.

  • Lead the DEI committee to foster cross-team collaboration.

  • Define and track key DEI metrics to assess impact and progress.

  • Create internal communications promoting awareness and inclusive practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging DEI trends, best practices, and legal requirements.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.

  • 5+ years in Change Management, Organizational Development, or DEI leadership roles.

  • Prosci Change Management certification or equivalent; PMP certification considered an asset.

  • Strong understanding and practical application of DEI concepts and strategies.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to influence and build trust across all organizational levels.

  • Skilled in translating data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
