Catering Services Supervisor

Description:

Aramark Canada is seeking a Catering Services Supervisor to manage and oversee the food service operations at its Toronto location. The supervisor ensures high-quality food preparation and service, maintains safety and sanitary standards, and supports the training and development of food service employees. This role is critical in delivering excellent customer service while managing day-to-day operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and manage the food service team.

• Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production records.

• Direct daily activities, ensuring food is prepared and served safely and per menu specifications.

• Maintain proper storage and organization of food items.

• Ensure department cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate weekly inventory and coordinate vendor orders.

• Promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork through supervision and counseling.

• Adjust duties as required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.

• Completion of a sanitation course before or during the first year as a lead.

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.

• Basic arithmetic skills.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and stress-management skills.

• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations and maintain emotional control under stress.

• Knowledge of efficient, cost-effective food service operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing.

• Use of uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE).
