Description:
Join the Cash Management Control Tower team in Montreal as a Flow Monitoring Analyst, part of a global setup that includes teams in Singapore, Paris, Brussels, Lisbon, and Montreal. The mission of the team is to ensure 24/7 monitoring of all financial operations in a highly critical banking environment, using a "follow-the-sun" model.
As a member of this dynamic and motivated team, your role will focus on ensuring the smooth and effective operation of cash management and SWIFT monitoring. The role requires flexibility, including working weekends (around 16 weekends per year) and public holidays, with compensatory days off. Team members work staggered hours during the week (11:30 AM – 07:30 PM).
Initial Role (First 3 Months):
Ensure functional monitoring of Supervision Monetique.
Follow working instructions for monitoring tasks.
Use monitoring tools to detect alerts and report issues to the incident manager.
After 3 Months:
Oversee functional monitoring of SWIFT, Cash Management, and banking services.
Detect abnormal trends in business activity, identify process gaps, and report incidents.
Collaborate with IT teams to validate planned changes in the infrastructure.
After 3 Months (Additional Responsibilities):
Perform weekend shifts, handle monitoring and incident management, and support IT changes.
After 6 Months (Further Responsibilities):
Coordinate and monitor incidents, contacting key stakeholders to restore service.
Monitor major incidents and ensure effective follow-up.
Participate in global monitoring projects, offering expertise as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Montreal team.
Contribute to continuous improvement and deployment of new monitoring controls and procedures.
Actively suggest improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Participate in team meetings and share knowledge.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage tasks autonomously with alertness and initiative.
Previous experience in IT, application support, banking operations, or client management.
Experience with Cash Management or SWIFT is a strong asset.
University degree in IT or Business Administration is a plus.
Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
Basic understanding of Information Systems and Technical/Functional architecture.
Knowledge of financial messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, SEPA, SCT, SDD, Instant Payments).
Understanding of SWIFT and Cash Management Payment infrastructures.
Ability to manage functional and technical incidents.
Experience with corporate clients' channels.
Strong communication skills in English (French is an asset).
