Carpentry Site Supervisor

AJC Carpentry is looking for an experienced Carpentry Site Supervisor to lead carpentry works across new-build residential developments.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled
carpenter or site manager with supervisory experience to lead a team, maintain high standards and keep projects on programme.

🔨 THE ROLE

- Coordinate carpenters and manage day-to-day site works
- Oversee timber frame, roofing, first fix, second fix and final works, including snagging
- Check workmanship against drawings, specifications and NHBC standards
- Plan labour and material requirements
- Liaise with housebuilder site management and our Contracts Manager
- Record progress, variations and delivery issues
- Promote safe working practices and excellent site housekeeping

✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Strong carpentry background with experience in new-build housing and understanding of NHBC standards.
- Previous experience supervising carpenters or leading a site team
- Ability to read drawings and organise work to meet deadlines
- Practical problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Relevant CSCS card and own transport
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
