Capital Project Accountant

Contemporary Cagary is seeking a full-time Capital Project Accountant.

With the Centennial Planetarium Transformation Project underway and set for completion in 2030, we’re looking for a quaified Capital Project Accountant to help support this exciting, multi-year project. The successful candidate will partner closely with project leadership, contractors, consultants and funders, maintaining strong controls, reliable forecasts and transparent reporting from the construction phase through to close-out.

Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with the Project Manager and Contemporary Calgary’s Finance Director, the Capital Project Accountant will oversee the financial management of the Centennial Planetarium Transformation Project. The role provides timely, accurate information to support effective decision-making; identifies and mitigates financial risk; and supports regular financial operations as time permits.
