The organization is seeking a Représentant de centre d’appels sortants (Outbound Call Center Representative) to play a key role in engaging donors, fostering long-term relationships, and contributing to Canada’s largest cancer-focused charity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during outbound calls with former and existing donors of the Canadian Cancer Society.

  • Handle inquiries about donations, encourage participation in ongoing fundraising campaigns, and provide general information about the Society’s initiatives.

  • Assist participants in configuring their online fundraising profiles and using digital fundraising tools to maximize event contributions.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly performance objectives, including call volume, donor engagement, and service quality.

  • Process donations accurately and update donor information in the organization’s CRM database.

  • Demonstrate passion and commitment toward the mission and values of the Canadian Cancer Society.

  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Collaborate closely with the Donor Services Team while managing daily tasks independently.

  • Contribute actively to the Society’s culture of inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging (AIDE).


Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English is required; French or bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset due to national operations.

  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle donor inquiries professionally and courteously.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively interact in a diverse workplace and deliver satisfying donor experiences on first contact.

  • High attention to detail and organizational ability to maintain accurate donor and gift records.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Luminate Online, Deloitte systems, or similar fundraising software is considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working remotely with discipline and efficiency.


Working Conditions:

  • Remote position – available to candidates across Canada.

  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

  • Frequent phone and computer use requiring sustained focus and data accuracy.

  • Confidential handling of donor and financial information.
