Description:
As part of the Supply Chain Manager's team, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing supplier integration in large-scale projects with international clients in order to optimize product delivery times, quality, and costs.
We Need You For
- Analyze internal needs and the market to identify the best opportunities.
- Issue calls for tenders and negotiate with high-caliber suppliers.
- Facilitate the implementation of the “Purchase to Pay” process.
- Place orders with suppliers to fulfill purchase requisition requests from internal customers.
- Select partners and optimize purchasing strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance and track contract execution.
- Define and manage supplier improvement plans in partnership with the purchasing contract manager.
- Manage and deploy projects/initiatives to reduce procurement costs and risks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a stimulating environment.
- Contribute to the reliability and performance of the supply chain.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
- You have a bachelor's degree in business administration or economics or equivalent.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement.
- You have experience in teamwork and networking.
- Technical knowledge of one or more technologies/processes specific to commodities (rubber, metal, plastic, chemicals, etc.) is an asset.
- You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) and can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
- You are detail-oriented, thorough, and have a problem-solving mindset.
- You enjoy travelling abroad (approximately 10-20% of the time).
