As part of the Supply Chain Manager's team, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing supplier integration in large-scale projects with international clients in order to optimize product delivery times, quality, and costs.

We Need You For
 

  • Analyze internal needs and the market to identify the best opportunities.
  • Issue calls for tenders and negotiate with high-caliber suppliers.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the “Purchase to Pay” process.
  • Place orders with suppliers to fulfill purchase requisition requests from internal customers.
  • Select partners and optimize purchasing strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and track contract execution.
  • Define and manage supplier improvement plans in partnership with the purchasing contract manager.
  • Manage and deploy projects/initiatives to reduce procurement costs and risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a stimulating environment.
  • Contribute to the reliability and performance of the supply chain.
     

What do you need to possess for being successful?
 

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration or economics or equivalent.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement.
  • You have experience in teamwork and networking.
  • Technical knowledge of one or more technologies/processes specific to commodities (rubber, metal, plastic, chemicals, etc.) is an asset.
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) and can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
  • You are detail-oriented, thorough, and have a problem-solving mindset.
  • You enjoy travelling abroad (approximately 10-20% of the time).
