Business Technology Analyst

Description:

Deloitte is seeking a Business Technology Analyst (BTA) / Consultant to support clients in leveraging technology to drive business transformation and operational excellence. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and eager to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of technology solutions. The BTA/Consultant will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in consulting, software development, AI, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document technical requirements, create user stories, and support product roadmap development.

• Contribute to technical design, prepare design documentation, and work with development teams to deliver solutions.

• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, SQL, etc.) for solution development, data analysis, or automation.

• Participate in AI and automation initiatives to enhance solution delivery and process efficiency.

• Manage JIRA boards, track project progress, and communicate actionable insights to teams and stakeholders.

• Participate in client workshops and meetings to support technical discussions and solution ideation.

• Assist in software testing (Unit, SIT, UAT, Performance, Penetration) and quality assurance.

• Research and experiment with emerging technologies, AI/Agentic trends, and cloud trends to support client engagements.

AI & Technology Enablement:

• Proficiency in AI/ML tools for data analysis, pattern recognition, and operational optimization.

• Familiarity with NLP technologies and integrating AI with cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of ethical AI practices emphasizing transparency and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, Jira, Confluence).

• Preferred: prior software development experience, familiarity with AI/ML, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), programming languages (C#, .Net, Java, Python, R, SQL), and leadership or teamwork experience.
