Business Performance Management Analyst

 

Description:

Fidelity Canada is hiring a Senior Business Performance Management Analyst on a fixed-term contract ending May 29, 2026, to join their Business Performance Management team in Toronto. As a vital member of this team, the successful candidate will support the alignment of strategic goals throughout the organization by building metric systems and performance frameworks aligned with industry best practices.

This role will involve designing dashboards, developing custom performance tools, driving data-informed decision-making, and working closely with various business units to ensure strategic alignment and measurable progress. Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Strategic Alignment & Performance Metrics

  • Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational goals

  • Create practical recommendations and performance measurement techniques

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to assess business performance

🔹 Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with business units to understand their reporting needs

  • Present metric updates and insights effectively to diverse stakeholders

  • Act as a catalyst for change through data-driven interpretations

🔹 Data Management & Integration

  • Curate, integrate, and govern datasets using modern tools and methods

  • Lead initiatives involving data collection and platform integration

  • Stay current with data trends, new sources, and transformation techniques

🔹 Report & Tool Development

  • Create and automate tailored decision-making tools

  • Design intuitive, visually compelling reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, etc.

  • Leverage automation and optimize delivery methods

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in advanced business analysis and reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA is an asset)

  • Demonstrated experience implementing business performance frameworks and metrics

  • Strong data skills with tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, Snowflake, AWS, Access

  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, Business Objects

  • Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation capabilities

  • Ability to manage and lead complex, cross-functional projects
